President's Message
David E. Lizotte, Jr. PA-C, MPAS, FAPACVS
David E. Lizotte, Jr.

Dear Colleagues:

This past March, the APACVS, for the first time in more than 2 decades, held its annual CME meeting separate geographically and chronologically from the STS meeting. I am happy to report that this meeting was the most successful meeting in the history of our Association. Three hundred professionals gathered at the beautiful Bellagio Casino and Resort for 4 days of outstanding lectures, hands-on sessions and networking. I would like to congratulate the Board for breaking from tradition and making this bold move to reinvent our CME offerings.More...

While this represents the culmination of a major effort by the AAPA and the California Academy of PAs (CAPA) to remove a barrier to surgical PA practice, let there be no confusion… The battle over Title 22 is far from over.
